Heavy metals are toxic elements that can be passed from plant to consumer. The cannabis plant can absorb heavy metal from the soil, water, and air. This means that if mercury or arsenic is present in the soil, there is a greater chance of the cannabis plant absorbing it as it grows. To test heavy metals, we utilize Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS).
